Life with Full Attention: A Practice Course in Mindfulness

Led By: Ananta, Laura Rivchen, Moira Kowalczyk and Todd Johnson
Monday Evenings
6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. EDT
Feb 19 - April 15, 2024

Online via Zoom, run alongside courses in London, Berlin and Barcelona

Course Description:

A rare opportunity to join Ananta alongside Maitreyabandhu (virtually or through recorded presentations), best-selling author of Life with Full Attention, for an 8-week practical course in mindfulness, alongside Triratna communities in London, Berlin, and Barcelona who will be running the course at the same time.

Our mindset and inner narratives can limit us. Using mindfulness as a tool we can learn to work with noisy, chaotic thoughts in order to become more creative and energetic. We can become more able to face the challenges of life: manage stress, cope better with illness, and reduce anxiety and depression.

And, there can be more when we put mindfulness back into its Buddhist context so it becomes more authentic and effective. Life with Full Attention does just this; it guides us in practical ways, taking in consideration the pressures of modern life so we can move towards reality itself and open up to the possibility of the Enlightened Mind, here and now.

How will it work? Each week there will be:

  • an online class

  • access to Maitreyabandhu’s talk on that week’s theme

  • weekly readings: the book can be purchased (in print or as e-book) here.

  • a free app to accompany the course and support home practice

  • there will also be two optional practice days on March 23 and April 28 to complement the 8-week course. They can be attended in conjunction with the course, or as a stand-alone events.

Join the course and get a thorough grounding in mindfulness practice as we move towards the limitless potential of our mind. For newcomers and those wanting to revisit the fundamentals of mindfulness practice or wanting to renew their inspiration.
